JPEG Compression

In the following table, I have compressed the same photograph at representative levels of compression, from 0 (totally compressed) to 100 (hardly compressed). Each photograph requires different levels of compression, depending on the picture and the use you intend for that picture; use this table as a rough guide.

JPEG - 0 - 3K JPEG - level 0 compression - 3K
JPEG - 10 (Low) - 4K JPEG - level 10 compression (Low) - 4K
JPEG - 20 - 6K JPEG - level 20 compression - 6K
JPEG - 30 (Med) - 7K JPEG - level 30 compression (Med) - 7K
JPEG - 40 - 8K JPEG - level 40 compression - 8K
JPEG - 50 - 10K JPEG - level 50 compression - 10K
JPEG - 60 (High) - 13K JPEG - level 60 compression (High) - 13K
JPEG - 70 - 17K JPEG - level 70 compression - 17K
JPEG - 80 (Max) - 23K JPEG - level 80 compression (Max) - 23K
JPEG - 90 - 31K JPEG - level 90 compression - 31K
JPEG - 100 - 45K JPEG - level 100 compression - 45K
